In recognition of World MS Day this Thursday, we’re sharing a patient impact story from our Corporate Liaison Trainer, Katie Peel. Katie was previously an on-site specialty pharmacy liaison at one of our partner health systems.
Name: Katie Peel
Current Role: Corporate Liaison Trainer
Location: Atlanta, GA
Years with Trellis Rx: I just celebrated my one year anniversary in March!
Why did you join Trellis Rx? I joined Trellis Rx because I wanted to expand my professional horizons. I was intrigued by our mission and passionate about becoming part of our vision.
What’s the best part about your job? One of the best parts of being a corporate trainer is guiding our pharmacy liaisons in their new roles. In supporting them, I help make a difference for patients across the nation. I also get to work with teams across Trellis Rx, which allows me to build my knowledge and gain new experiences. Encouraging team building is another aspect of my role that I enjoy. One way I do this is by serving on our Volunteerism committee, which organizes service events and disease state awareness days.
What do you like most about Trellis Rx’s culture? I love that our team is supportive of everyone, no matter your role or title. Each employee really is valued and appreciated. We are a goal-orientated, passionate group that want the best for our patients and customers and for each other. I love that work-life balance is encouraged and supported from management – we’re a very family-orientated company.
What’s your favorite Trellis Rx value and why? My favorite Trellis RX value is Joy. When you have joy in the workplace, it encourages fulfillment. You support and uplift others, all while recognizing their challenges and helping them tackle their struggles. You embrace success and celebrate it. When you exude joy, it shines on others. A little can go a long way.
