Trellis is seeking a seasoned talent acquisition professional, who truly enjoys the “art of the hunt”.   We are not a volume-shop; what we care about is quality.  When so many talent acquisition roles focus on metrics such as number of fills and “time-to-fill”, we spend our time working on carefully and strategically finding top talent in a very small, niche-market.

The ideal candidate will reside in the Atlanta, GA area with the ability to travel several times a year for off-site meetings and new-hire orientation sessions.  We offer a flexible and blended work environment, meaning employees can split their time between commuting to the office and working from home, depending on business needs.     

You would be responsible for:


  • Work closely with the other members of the Talent team to identify sources of talent for corporate roles as well as hospital-based roles such as Pharmacy Liaisons & Pharmacists
  • Reach out to prospective candidates via multiple sources such as LinkedIn, Indeed, industry specific sites, and various other social media channels
  • Successfully initiate preliminary conversations with prospective talent who are not actively on the job market, and convert them into engaged candidates with genuine interest

Talent Assessment:

  • Conduct initial phone interviews with candidates and determine appropriateness for proceeding to next steps with the hiring teams, by:
    • Ensuring that candidate has the appropriate credentials and background necessary for the position
    • Having necessary discussions regarding salary expectations while adhering to our fair compensation philosophy and policy
  • Treat every candidate with respect and dignity, regardless of whether they qualify – ensure a pleasant candidate experience throughout the interview process

Hiring Consultation:

  • Compose a comprehensive written summary and proposal for each candidate post-phone screen, and submit to hiring team
  • Encourage and ensure timely responses from hiring team in order to maintain momentum
  • Pre-negotiate the essential components of the ultimate offer early on in the process, such as salary requirement and other potential hurdles in a proactive fashion
  • Guide and coach hiring managers throughout the selection process to ensure that we are selecting the best talent with consistency with our corporate values, while adhering to state and federal regulations
  • Formulate offer recommendations based on position, geographic market data and pre-determined salary range while ensuring internal equity
  • Bring each search to a close by extending offers or providing coaching and guidance to hiring managers on how to effectively “close”

Additional Duties:

  • Draft offer letters and prepare additional materials necessary, i.e., benefits summary
  • Work with multiple technology tools including Applicant Tracking System, SharePoint, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Word, Outlook)
  • Manage each hire’s onboarding process including:
    • Ordering of criminal background checks, drug screens and health related screening requirements, if applicable
    • Monitoring of onboarding progress and providing regular updates to hiring managers
    • Escalating any issues to TA leadership
    • Consistently record the most updated progress in shared documents/tools
  • Assist with making travel arrangements for interviews, meetings, new-hire orientation and employee training
  • Assist with planning and conducting new-hire employee orientation sessions
  • Maintenance of HR records and other miscellaneous duties

  • Minimum of two years’ experience having worked with full-life cycle recruiting
  • Minimum of one-year having worked on technology searches (developers, QA, etc.)
  • A knack for finding talent via creative sourcing, and true love of the “hunt”
  • Experience having worked with Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS
  • A high emotional IQ which allows them to engage easily with off-market candidates as well as hiring managers
