The AWS Dev Ops Engineer is accountable for the deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of AWS cloud-based production system. The applicant is responsible for ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems. They will work closely with other network engineers to deliver key initiatives and strategies for accelerating adoption of Company solutions. This position operates with minimal supervision.

The product that you help build will be implemented at health systems immediately. It will benefit patients with some of the most complex conditions and you will have a visible and direct impact on improving their day-to-day lives.


The role is based in Atlanta with up to 5% travel for on-site customer implementations.

You would be responsible for:

  • Respond to and manage support tickets related to configuration, debugging, and creation of cloud infrastructure
  • Support existing infrastructure and improve existing components where needed
  • Setup support tools and automation processes
  • Manage and support CI/CD tools
  • Work closely with development team to support ongoing projects and assist in design of new projects
  • Monitor existing infrastructure and react to any potential issues in a timely manner
  • Identify and deploy cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management

We are excited to speak with someone who has:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with complex production environments
  • Minimum 3 years working with AWS Cloud services
  • Proficiency with scripting, automating, and deploying in the Cloud, in particular AWS services
  • Deep understanding of EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, VPN, Security Groups, ELB, ASG, Route53, ApiGateway, Lambda, CloudFront, CloudFormation, ECS, Config
  • Hands-on administration and/or software development; strong problem diagnostic and debugging skills
  • Vast experience with Operating System: Linux
  • Vast Experience with IAM, Roles
  • Experience with SSH, HTTPS, Certs, Encryption protocols and implementation
  • Experience with deployment tools, such as Jenkins
  • Team player, Highly Motivated, multi-tasking, self-directed

And bonus points if you have experience with any of these items:

  • Experience with general healthcare concepts, procedures, and practices
